What does the science say ?
Underarm sweat is produced by two types of sweat glands located just below the surface of the skin :

Apocrine glands
- which release a thicker liquid accompagnied by an odor
Our body is composed by more than 4 billion of sweat glands. miraDry will treat just 2% of the total of sweat glands. That’s why we are not changing the physiological sweat system of the body.
3 STEPS TO SWEAT-FREE
miraDry is an easy treatment because the procedure is done in 1 hour.
What goes on during the treatment is actually pretty simple. The miraDry system uses thermal energy thats targets and eliminates the sweat and odor glands in your underarm. Once those glands are eliminated, they do not grow back.
Step 1
After your underarm is numbed, a temporary tatoo is applied to your underarm in order to treat each part with efficiently.
Step 2
The handpiece of miraDry is placed directly on your skin. You will feel slight suction as your skin and glands are brought closer to the surface for maximum results.
Step 3
Thermal energy is delivered and the sweat and odor glands are eliminated. All the while, the sytem is cooling to protect your skin and maximize your comfort.
One session is required if the secretion of sweat glands is low, 2 sessions for the hyperhidrosis and spaced from 3 months.
FOLLOW-UP

Two days after and during few days, you will feel an incomfortable like sensibility without a real pain in the treated area.
